About

I’m Ant, a Melbourne-based artist creating bold, hand-painted pet portraits in acrylic on canvas.

My background is in graffiti and mural art, which is where a lot of the bold linework, bright colours and graphic style in my work comes from.

I started painting pets with my own dogs, and it grew from there. I want the finished painting to be bold and colourful while still capturing the individual animal’s features, markings and personality.

The most important part for me is that when you get the finished painting, it still looks like your pet.

Every portrait is painted by hand from your photos. We’ll work out the photo, colours and background together, and I’ll keep you involved as the painting comes together.

Your pet, painted like the icon they already are.
